Trauma - Distressing Life Events

Everyone experiences stress from distressing life events, but many don't know how to cope with it.  Troubling events can cause both mental as well as physical difficulties in one's life, especially when dealing with the most stressful things that happen during a person's life course.  When major life stressors such as the death of a loved one, job loss, or assault come up, it's important to handle them properly to further avoid getting hurt.  Through appropriate trauma counselling, the impact of these distressing life events is alleviated for the individual.

Trauma creates changes you don't choose.  Healing is about creating change that you do choose.
